Your Wollaton No. 1

Ron Cruxon wrote this remarkable booklet in longhand during the Covid-19 lockdown.

It details his life in Wollaton from the 1920s and 1930s, his wartime experiences, his subsequent return to Wollaton and his working life through to retirement.

Born in Wollaton in 1922, he witnessed the change from small rural village to a busy suburb of the City of Nottingham.

At Ron’s request, all proceeds from the sale go towards the Wollaton Walled Garden restoration fund.
