A new book on Wollaton Park is to be published next month as part of the WHaCS Your Wollaton series. The book has been written by Colin Robbins who is a long standing ranger at Wollaton Park and active member of Friends of Wollaton Park, as well as being a member of WHaCS. It traces the park’s evolution from medieval farmland and private hunting estate into the cherished public park and nature reserve we know today.
A launch for the book is to take place at Wollaton Hall on Monday 20 April 2026 at 6.45pm and will be attended by The Sheriff of Nottingham. A drinks reception will be followed by a talk from the author.
Tickets are £5 (plus booking fee if purchased online) and are available via the link below, or in person at this month’s meeting.
The book will retail at £9 but is available to members for £7.50.
