New Wildflower Patch at Doctor’s Corner

We recently requested permission from the council to plant up the grassed area next to the junction of Wollaton Road and Trowell Road with wildflowers. Councillor, and Sheriff of Nottingham, Zafran Khan contacted the highways team and confirmed that they would be very happy for us to do that.
On 16 October 2025, Anthony Bennett from the Walled Garden Project drove over with his mowers and a scarifier, which had been donated to the group some time ago. We have now sown a gorgeous selection of seeds including mixed Cornflowers, Yellow Rattle from the Walled Garden plus Corn Poppies, Oxeye Daisies and Buttercups from Naturescape.
